Django & Python Developer

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Django & Python Developer to join our team on a Contract-to-Hire (C2H) basis. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Python & Django • Build and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications • Optimize application performance and database efficiency using PostgreSQL • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (SSO, JWT) • Integrate third-party APIs and microservices • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD deployments, and follow development best practices Requirements • 5 to 8 years of experience with Python and Django • Strong understanding of RESTful API development • Experience with PostgreSQL database • Knowledge of Microservices Architecture • Familiarity with JWT Authentication, CSRF, HMAC • Experience with SSO (Single Sign-On) Authentication • Proficiency in Git & CI/CD Pipelines • Understanding of Cache Management, Logging & Rate Limiting • Good to have: Celery & Redis, Azure Cognitive Services, GenAI Prompt Engineering, HTML, CSS & JavaScript
