Python Developer

About the Role We are looking for a Python Developer to join our team for a 12+ month contract. This role focuses on building scalable cloud-native applications and backend platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable Python applications and platform services • Build cloud-native solutions on GCP • Develop backend services, APIs and platform components • Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions • Support CI/CD automation and DevOps best practices • Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues • Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams • Participate in architecture discussions and technical design Requirements • 8+ years of Python development experience • Strong experience with GCP and cloud infrastructure • Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes • Experience building scalable backend services and distributed systems • Strong understanding of APIs, OOP, Git and CI/CD • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Ex-Walmart experience is highly preferred
